Olga is a preservice English teacher who earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature & Language from NYU. Currently, she is completing her Master’s degree in teaching English at Columbia University’s Teachers College. In the meantime, she continues to help teens conquer and slay the SAT, ACT, and the overall high school experience.
She recognizes that effective, kind, and engaging teachers have the most powerful impact, so she always approaches her students with empathy, positivity, and encouragement. Olga guides her students towards growth and confidence in themselves while also acknowledging that learning is a partnership. She is always her students’ biggest advocate.
Schoolwork and test prep can be stressful, so she makes sure to provide a calming and motivating environment. Each session caters to what the student needs and loves, including investigating grammar through song lyrics or drawing triangles in between dog ears to study special right triangles.
Olga’s students receive her unwavering dedication to their success in academic and mentoring capacities with plenty of laughs along the way.
Fun fact: she is an expert shade thrower at all things SAT and/or College Board. When she is not throwing shade, she loves to spend time with her pup, cook, and dance like no one is watching even though her dog is patiently waiting for food to drop.
