This year has been particularly difficult for everyone, what with the COVID-19 pandemic, being isolated at home, online learning, civil unrest, wildfires, hurricanes, and many other challenges. Many of our students have faced ongoing disappointment over cancelled standardized tests after working so hard to master these exams. We have all been affected in one way or another by this unforgettable year.
What, then, are we able to give thanks for this year? It’s an important question to ask, especially now.
I, for one, am thankful for not only my own family and friends (although they are a huge part of it) but also for YOU. It has been a blessing and pleasure to serve a number of you. I can honestly say I find something daily that brings a smile to my face or laughter to my soul through my work with you.
I love being a part of students’ learning processes, celebrating victories with students who reach their goals, and engaging with parents who are just plain fun to meet with.
Our staff here at Enhanced Prep is also amazing, from the administrative support, marketing team, and leadership to the tutors who are dedicated to their students and to our company. They’re a group of individuals who care deeply about what they do and love doing it! It is a pleasure to work alongside you. We as a company have been very blessed to glean the best of the best when it comes to our tutors and staff.
Finding joy with thanksgiving in the small things is a tool that can truly get us through each day with a little more ease. Reflecting on the positives that do exist all around–and even some of the harder life lessons–can bring joy upon reflection, even if we are all far apart.
When you sit down with your loved ones and or friends this season, my hope is that you find your peace and joy. To my family, friends, students, parents, counselors, business partners, and fellow co-workers, you have my heartfelt THANK YOU!
