AP Math & Science Tests
AP English & Social Science Tests
Every Enhanced Prep journey begins with a diagnosis of a student’s individual strengths and weaknesses. College entrance exams test a wide variety of concepts. We identify which concepts will be most valuable for students to focus on so they can maximize their accuracy on test day.
Enhanced Prep tutors will provide each student with different tips and tricks to help them save time on the test without sacrificing accuracy. Equipped with these strategies, students will be able to see a question and know the best approach to answer it and avoid pesky test traps.
So, you’ve mastered the content of the test and you know how to approach the different kinds of questions on the test. What’s next? Each student will receive a unique game plan detailing how much time they should spend on each section of the test, the order in which they should take the test and more!
When preparing for the MCAT, students should ensure, above all else, that they begin well before their testing dates. The exam covers a lot of material, so candidates need plenty of time to review it. Also, having an organized study plan to manage this time and get the most benefit possible is highly beneficial. This can best be achieved through the online MCAT help of our professional tutors, all of whom are equipped with the ability to identify where students are struggling most to determine where they need to focus their study efforts.
The MCAT assesses students' knowledge of various health- and medicine-related subjects at an introductory college level, and thus is considered a relatively advanced assessment. These include core concepts of biology and chemistry as they relate to medical science, such as human anatomy and physiology, psychology and sociology. In addition, the exam covers how to work effectively with other professionals and patients. Each tutor on our team can provide students with the MCAT help they need to succeed when their test day arrives.
The MCAT may be retaken a maximum of 7 times within any candidate's lifetime, giving some room for error and improvement should applicants fail the exam. However, there are limitations on how often the exam can be retaken, with a maximum of 3 attempts within a single year, and 4 attempts within a two-year period. To get the most out of the time in between attempts, students can seek the help of an MCAT tutor from our team to help them identify where they need to improve the most before their next attempt, ensuring the best possible chance of success when their testing date rolls around.
When students arrive at their MCAT testing site, they can only have a select list of items. The only required item is a valid, government-issued photo ID. Lockers are provided for the storage of other items allowed in the testing center, but not the testing room, including food and drink, medication, hygiene products, cell phones or any other electronic devices. Electronics cannot be used during breaks, but medications, snacks, drinks, and hygiene products can.
A student's overall score on the MCAT is the sum of four individual scores given on the four subtests. Each of the subtests receives a scaled score within a range of 118 to 132, meaning that the total added scores can range from 472 to 528. No specific score is universally considered passing; this value is determined at each institution. The average score is 500, with anything above that generally being considered good. When students receive their score report, they will see their individual subtest scores, overall score, and their percentile rank for that year's testing scores to understand how competitive their score is.
